“When you can’t look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark.” – The Mad Hatter

I am passionate in helping my clients find themselves and teach them new ways to find and use their empowerment to create change in their lives. We face many challenges and struggles in life, and I love being there to help each individual navigate through those and learn to live a normal life while navigating mental health and different life challenges. I am from South Eastern Kentucky and I am a huge advocate in embracing your unique self and being unapologetically yourself, and sometimes we just need a guiding hand in figuring out who that is.

I work with teens and adults who face mental, emotional and personality disorders and addictions, as well as those who just need a supportive guide along their journey and hardships. I utilize person/client-centered therapy to help the individual realize and find their own power and potential to effectively help themselves. I also enjoy utilizing evidence-based therapy practices/techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior therapy, among many other styles and techniques, as well as providing Psycho-education.

I am a licensed social worker and have attained my bachelor’s in psychology as well as my masters in clinical social work from The University of Kentucky. My goal is to always be learning new skills and gaining new knowledge to be able to help water others’ cups and help them grow into the person they want to be, as well as equip them with life skills along the way. I understand that each person is unique in their experiences and challenges, and their needs and goals will be specifically tailored to them to help them flourish throughout their path.

I look forward to building relationships with each individual who trusts me to walk alongside them on their unique journeys.
