Garrett Forlow, MA, LPC, Practice Manager, Celina
I'm Garrett Forlow, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a keen focus on depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach to therapy is grounded in a deep understanding of how our values shape our lives and well-being. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Bowling Green State University and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from The Ohio State University. My therapeutic toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existential therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), allowing me to tailor my approach to each client's unique needs.
I am particularly interested in how mismatched values can lead to emotional turmoil and a sense of discontent. My goal is to help clients pinpoint these misalignments and work towards realigning their lives with what truly matters to them. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood, allowing them to explore their inner world without judgment. Whether I'm working with young adults facing life's transitions or older individuals grappling with longstanding issues, I am dedicated to supporting my clients in their journey towards a more fulfilling and authentic life.
