Emily Kill, LPCC, Celina
Hello! My name is Emily Kill, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who strives to meet clients where they’re at and ensure that they can express and navigate through their thoughts and feelings in a safe and comfortable environment. I particularly enjoy working with adults in the office setting addressing a variety of symptoms and concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, life adjustments, life stress, and relationship concerns.
I am a firm believer in the power of a healthy therapeutic relationship coupled with learning positive coping skills and gaining new perspectives. I also enjoy incorporating Christian faith and values into counseling services, if desired and requested. My own Catholic faith has been a steady force in my life, and it continues to guide me daily. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Wright State University. I have been practicing for over 10 years and have worked with a variety of populations in both the office and school settings. I take on both a client centered and solution focused counseling approach, and I often use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques which focus on thought reframing and refocusing to alleviate difficult emotions and symptoms and increase positive behaviors.
I look forward to working with you soon!
